What Exhibitors Can Do

Reduce Signage Waste By:

  • Encouraging less printing and providing more information digitally when it comes to booth literature and fulfilling requests via email and website referrals
  • Creating reusable non-dated signs that can be used year after year
  • Avoiding foam core signs and requesting recyclable material such as cardboard signage

Reduce Booth Waste By:

  • Requesting sustainable options from Freeman or your EAC
  • BYOF!- Avoiding carpet and bringing your own flooring, like puzzle foam flooring that can be reused at all your shows
  • Breaking down ALL cardboard boxes and putting them in the correct recycling bin
  • Requesting additional booth bins for recycling and compost collection
  • Using only compostable or recyclable service ware for samples and giveaways
  • Using the stickers provided at the Exhibitor Services Desk to mark your materials for recycling or donation
  • Setting a goal to leave no trace behind by shipping out all of your booth properties and packing materials and donating extra giveaways
